Hello Everyone
I hope you’re all keeping safe and well.
A reminder that this Saturday, 30th August, we have Tee visiting with a group of his friends in order to have a go with some firearms. I am hoping we will have our usual Saturday turnout of members, hopefully with some suitably interesting firearms that the guys can have a go with. They are paying £15 per head so it’s a nice little earner for the club funds. I’ll be giving the Sharps an outing!
The following Saturday, September 6th, is our guest day and barbecue. Hopefully, we’ll have an even better turnout than last time and a good time will be had by all. There will be no charge, but a contributions tin will be there if anyone would like to give anything. If you intend to come but haven’t let Julie know yet, please do so using the email link below. In addition, we will be having a sale of shooting kit that belonged to Dave Sturman. Janet, his wife, brought me a load of stuff this afternoon and I think the best thing to do is set up a table at the barbecue and see what we can sell. I’m not going to price anything, it’ll be a question of making a donation. Janet expects nothing from the sale but it would be good if we raise something for her.
Next, a reminder about competition cards for the Summer 25m competitions and August 100m comp. Please can I have these by the end of the weekend. Anyone handing them in on Sunday – they will get to me eventually even though I won’t be there to collect them myself.
Finally, Julie N has sorted out a possible venue for our Christmas bash this year. I’ve attached the details. Looks good to me, and if you’re interested, please let Julie know directly ASAP on julie.napier02
