Just a brief follow-up to the message I sent out yesterday.
One or two people pointed out the the Christmas menu for the proposed ‘do’ seemed to come from 2022 and wondered if it was the correct one?
I’ve asked Julie to check on this and I’ll keep you posted.
Secondly, the sale of Dave Sturman’s stuff. Ray and I have had a sort through what’s there. Lots of reloading kit for both nitro and black powder, bullet moulds, reloading dies, lots of empty cases, powder dispensers, scales, etc. There’s a range of slings, gunslips, and cleaning rods too. Unfortunately, his loaded ammo and powders were taken by the police when they took his firearms, but there are quite a lot of primers and especially percussion caps of various sorts. The stuff will all be for disposal on Saturday 6th September at the barbecue – not before. PLEASE do not contact me before then about specific items or attempt to ‘bag’ things in advance. The folks who turn up to the guest day/barbecue will be the ones who have first pick. There will be no set prices but sensible donations will be expected.
