Hello Everyone
A reminder that it’s Stuart’s funeral tomorrow at 12.00 at Kettering Crematorium. I’ve attached details of how to stream the service and also details of how donations can be made by anyone who wants to do so. I’ll be making a donation on behalf of the club in a few days time. Christine has been in touch again to remind us that everyone is welcome.
A small piece of good news is that the police have located Stuart’s ‘missing gun’ (I think it was in the cabinet all the time) so at least that’s one worry for the family out of the way.
On a happier note, this Saturday (6th December) is our next guest day, with Julie and Rob providing soup, burgers and other treats, with a table sale of Stuart’s shooting stuff taking place as well. There is so much stuff going that it’s impossible to list everything, but note that no primers or powders are included. There are cases and some bullets though, I believe. Both that sale and the barbecue will be open to donations, there will be no fixed individual prices. A similar sale of Dave Sturman’s stuff raised almost 600 pounds so hopefully this one will be just as successful, with all proceeds going to the family.
Finally, can any of our ROs cover this Sunday (Dec.7th) as both Jimmy and Mark (and Gordon) are doing their RSO training course at Oundle? I can cover it myself if necessary but would prefer not to. Let me know if you can help.
