Hello Everyone.
I hope you’re all keeping safe and well during this endless January.
First thing to mention this time is the guest day next week (Feb 7th) which includes another barbecue spread by Julie, Rob and Martin. Remember to skip breakfast because there’s always plenty of food! As usual, there’s no charge but contributions are welcome.
The three 25m competitions are all underway now. Cards are available from your RO and you have until the end of March to submit them. Good luck – particularly if you’re having a go at the ‘iron sight’ off-elbows cards!
Finally, we have a Bisley day booked for the morning of Sunday 5th April. We have two lanes booked (that’s all that were available) with electronic targets at 300 yards on Century. Numbers will be limited to twelve shooters, sharing details of three shooters per lane. Obviously no markers are required. If you would like to attend, please note the following:
All shooters must be FAC holders and have a valid SCC (Shooter Certification Card).
The cost is £15 payable in advance – this will avoid any messing around with cash on the day.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. PLEASE do not pay until your place has been confirmed.
If more than twelve people come forward I’ll put together a reserve list in case anyone drops out.
We could possibly arrange another date for later in the year if there is sufficient interest. It is possible for non-SCC holders to shoot at Bisley but only under one-to-one supervision, which is not practical in this case. Let’s see how it goes.
Best regards for now
