I hope you’re all keeping safe and well.
Having only just got back from my Vietnam/Cambodia expedition I’m still in ‘catch-up’ mode, so I hope I can remember to include all of the info I need to in this message.
Firstly, due to the unusually wet spell, parking on the range is suspended until further notice. Two disabled spaces for blue badge holders are available though.
Secondly, information regarding the competitions: I know there are one or two people who have shot cards for the September 100m comp and not got them to me yet. No problem, I’ll compile the monthly totals once these cards arrive. I’m not at the range this weekend but if the cards are left with Ray or Jimmy I’ll pick them up next week.
There’s a pleasing level of interest in the 25m comps. Plenty of target sets have been made up and can be obtained from the Range Officers. Remember there are two separate comps and you have until November 30th to shoot them. I’ve attached the rules with this message, but they are also pinned up by the firing point.
Finally, Neal B has a .22 rifle for sale, a Remington 597 semi-auto with a 10 shot mag, £300 ono. Contact him on 1983neal if you’re interested.
