First thing is, I need to ask if any of our regular ROs are available to cover Jimmy this Sunday (May 26)? Please let me know ASAP if you could do it.
Next, membership renewals. These continue to come in at a good rate. Thanks to everyone who has renewed so far. Please note that from Saturday June 1st you can only shoot on the range if you have your new membership card, so for those who haven’t yet renewed, time is starting to get short.
Finally, can I ask people to drive carefully up and down the access road. It is starting to get rutted and rough driving, especially wheelspinning, up and down it will only make things worse. If it gets much worse we may have to review ‘on range’ parking again, as well as having to pay for some expensive resurfacing. Also, if the bad weather continues, we may have to suspend parking on the range anyway for a while. The RO of the day will make the decision and put the ‘no parking’ sign at the bottom of the drive.
