Hello Everyone
I hope your’e all keeping safe and well.
The first thing to mention this time is that, for a variety of reasons, I will not be at the range at a weekend until Saturday 17th October. This means that the card reader will not be available until then so ammo and guests (next guest day is Saturday Oct 3rd) will need to be paid in cash during that time. Apologies for any inconvenience. Also, the Summer 25 competition results will not be compiled until the middle of October. Any outstanding cards need to be handed in by Weds 30th September. Please give them to your RO who will pass them on to me eventually. Again, apologies for the delay.
Next up is a mention of the excellent corporate day we had last Friday (11th Sept). Ray, Chris, John, Peter, Bart, Martin and Phil put in a real shift and ensured the visitors had a great time. This was confirmed by the feedback they gave at the end, where our session was rated as almost everyone’s favourite. In addition, the club received £580 towards our funds. We’ve already been booked again for next year.
We now have another message from our social secretary, Julie :
We are holding the Christmas club meal at the Swan in Kibworth which will be on Saturday December 12th at 7 for 7.30 pm. We used this venue last year and it was excellent.
If you are interested in coming and celebrating with us please email as soon as possible so I can update and let the Swan know how many to cater for. Once I have the Christmas menu from them I will get this out to you all

Finally, I wonder how many of you have noticed the new curtains at the back of the firing points? Thanks to Neil and especially John for their efforts here. We’ll remember them when the winter winds are blowing!
