I hope you’re all keeping safe and well.
Let me first update the situation regarding the 25m comps. The summer results have been posted and sets of cards for each of the three autumn competitions are available from the black shed via your RO. There is a limit of one set per comp per person, and please don’t take the cards unless you actually intend to enter as it takes a lot of time to put the sets together. The closing date for entries is the end of December.
Talk of December reminds us of the ‘C’ word and therefore I attach a copy of the Christmas menu for the club bash in Kibworth on Saturday December 12th. This was really good last year and hopefully will be just as good this time. Please contact Julie directly to confirm booking and orders. julie.napier02
Julie and Rob are also doing soup together with turkey cobs at the range on the December guest day, Saturday 5th, to help engender the Christmas spirit.
We are at the time of year when the turning weather means that parking on the range won’t be lasting much longer. I’ll let you know when we finally make a decision about this – it should be fairly soon.

‘I am selling my Shiloh Sharps 40-70 (forty seventy, original calibre) Rifle with cases, custom seating die, dies, push through rods, bullet moulds including paper patched as well as grooved, Montana Vintage Arms mid range tang sight, like Quigleys but not as high, blow tube, cartridge seater, I’ve never had to use it, hard case and a wood case that I made. Also I fringed leather slip. I might have a bag of spares which I need to find.
