I hope you’re all keeping safe and well.
Hopefully, this is my final missive about membership renewals, at least for the time being.
From next Tuesday, June 2nd, you must have a valid 2026-27 membership card in order to shoot at the range. ‘Oh I didn’t realise’ , ‘It’s in the post’ or ‘I’ve paid but not got it yet’ (to quote the three most common excuses) won’t do. You have to have completed payment and sumitted the form before a new card can be issued. Many thanks to the great majority of members who have already done so and got their new cards sorted.
I will be at the range on Saturday morning between 10 and 11 with the card reader for anyone wanting to renew then. Renewals on the day will be fine – the cards will be ready by the following Tuesday.
I will also be there for a rare visit on Sunday 31st, to facilitate any last minute renewers. Again, if payment and form are sorted, the card will be ready for Tuesday.
On both days I will have with me the new cards that are already done (there are almost 50 of these) so they can be collected in person or by proxy.
Finally, may I remind you of the point made in the last update about anyone who may be struggling financially to renew – please contact me directly and I’m sure we can work something out, confidentiality guaranteed.
