Hello Everyone
I hope you’re all keeping safe and well.
I’d like to begin with thanking Rob and Julie for their efforts at the barbecue on Saturday 3rd. The guest day was not as well attended as usual but despite that everything reportedly went well.
We have a problem with RO cover on Thursday 29th October as John is unable to make it. If any one of our regular RO team can cover that session, please let me know ASAP. If we can’t get any cover the range can’t open on that day.
I’ve finally had the chance to compile the results of the Summer 25m competitions. The new targets for the offhand iron sights and benchrest proved popular, with the best overall level of entry so far. Scoring was very tight, with countback being necessary on the benchrest comp to split first from second and third from fourth. It looks like you’ll need to shoot all four targets to be on the safe side in future!
New sets of targets will be put together for the Autumn session (Oct/Nov/Dec) ASAP We have some personal health issues and the sudden passing of my father-in-law to deal with at the moment so please excuse some possible delay.
Finally, a reminder about the club Christmas bash at Kibworth on Sat 12th December in Kibworth. This was excellent last year and if you can go, refer to details in previous updates and contact Julie at julie.napier02.
Best regards for now
