Hello Everyone
I hope you’re all keeping safe and well.
I mentioned before about having the sand on the backstop replaced. Neil has been busy sorting this and the job will be done early next week. This means the Tuesday shooting session next week (24 June) is cancelled in order for the work to be completed. We’re talking about 20-odd tonnes of sand here so its a major undertaking. However, the job should be done by the end of Tuesday, so Wednesday shooting will take place as usual. Should the situation change at all I will obviously let everyone know.
A reminder about the barbeque on Saturday 5th July, our guest day for the month. Please let Julie know if you can attend (julie.napier02). Here’s hoping for a good turnout and some suitable weather.
Finally, the Summer 25m comps. are now being shot. Collect your cards from the RO of the day. You’ve got until the end of August to do them but don’t leave it too late, this being the time of holidays and such like.
I don’t know how many people noticed the fence down the left side of the range has been repainted with preservative. Thanks to Pat and Martin for doing this. Martin also provided the materials at no cost to the club.
